+Do drivers need to download anything?
No. The application opens in any phone's web browser. Their progress is saved as they go.
+Who makes the hiring decision?
You do. CanAm runs the application, the checks and the paperwork; your company decides who to hire.
+Does it work for Canadian and US drivers?
Yes. US and cross-border fleets get the FMCSA application; Canadian provincial carriers get the Canadian version. Measurements, questions and required documents adjust automatically.
+Do I need to be a CanAm portal client already?
No. The Driver Hiring Package is available on its own; you get a portal login to see your applicants.
+What about drug testing, the Clearinghouse and PSP?
Those are ordered separately when you need them. We can arrange them and add the results to the driver's file.
